The Saints had a very successful and enjoyable Superbowl Sunday in the Portobello pub. The night started off with the 2008 Team Awards, with David Mullins picking up a hat-trick of awards on the night including Team MVP.

The Superbowl was watched by an enthusiastic crowd filling out the venue with the Pittsburgh Steelers defeating the Arizona Cardinals 27-23 in a contest which was won in the final minute and will go down as one of the most memorable ever.

Sunday 1st February, DCU Saints are hosting a Superbowl party in the Portobello pub as the Pittsburgh Steelers face the Arizona Cardinals.
Superbowl XXLI

Sunday the 3rd February sees the New York Giants take on the New England Patriots in Superbowl XXLI. This year the game will be held in Phoenix, Arizona and kicks off at 11pm.
As usual we’ll be hosting our own Superbowl party in Buskers Bar in Templebar. We’ve worked hard on putting together a good night and the following is just some of the things we’ve planned:
- Bar open until 2:30am
- Drink promos: Pints of Miller €3
- Entry only €5 which includes a free pint of Miller
